Courses

  • The process of language learning in our centre is divided into three stages of development:

    • Elementary: A1 y A2
    • Intermediate: B1.1, B1.2, B2.1 y B2.2
    • Advanced: C1.1, C1.2, C2.1, C2.2

    Preparation classes for official exams: PRELIMINARY, FIRST and ADVANCED, and also Business English Certificates PRELIMINARY, VANTAGE and HIGHER

    Hours: Courses between 50 and 100 hours, according to the Common European Framework.

  • Each cycle is divided into courses of 95-100 hours. The content and objectives are adjusted accordingly to suit the programme demands of the Common European Framework.

    The courses offered by MLS (Martorell Language School) integrate skills (oral and written expression and comprehension) with the grammar and vocabulary necessary in order to be able to communicate effectively

    All activities are carried out in a modern context and are appealing to our students.

  • Teaching Model

    • Classes in small groups or one:one classes.
    • Classes from Monday to Saturday.
    • A communicative approach based on personal interaction and active use of the target language in the classroom.
    • Development of all aspects of the target language: oral comprehension and expression, written expression and reading comprehension.
    • Adaptation to the needs of students both individual and in groups.
    • Use of up to date teaching materials.
    • A Video Library with more than 150 films and a Library with more than 200 books, magazines and listening material.
    • Highly qualified and dedicated teachers, with many years experience and interest in utilising modern pedagogical methods.
    • Continuous assessment: feedback is offered in each class, and furthermore  examinations are conducted at the end of each semester to monitor the progress of the students.
    • Active promotion of study and personal work in the target language. Promotion of active use and practise of the target language.
    • Active promotion of reading and interest in all aspects of the target language, not only linguistic but also cultural and social.
